The Perfect Watch

A year or two ago, I was on a search for the perfect watch. I wanted something arcane -- something that took a trained eye to read. I looked and looked, but apparently, this product category was under-represented in the marketplace. Only the old-standbys were represented:
  • The Moon Face Watch
  • Grandpa's Classic All-Metal Watch
  • The Digital Watch (don't panic!) and its kissing-cousin The Calculator Watch
  • The Classy Watch with the Leather Band(TM)
Needless to say, they all seemed lame to me. I just couldn't find a decent watch that suited my tastes -- until now that is!

Tokyo Flash makes these models and they are exactly what I was looking for. They have a lot of models to choose from and each one has an alternate universe charm.

Check out the collection!

That's a neat looking watch...I daren't look at the others because then I might find one I like and buying a watch is something I totally cannot justify for two reasons: 1. no job. 2. My mom gave me my dad's Rolex.

Come on. . .what if The Doctor were to show up to make you his companion? Television audiences look for watches that are appropriate for the setting. I don't want to patronize, but it's called suspension of disbelief. The Rolex ain't cutting it.
