Another week, a few more games in the ol' collection. What did I pick up? Read on, read on. . .
Perfect Dark Zero (Xbox 360) - My renewed interest in the Xbox 360 has led me to raid the system's back catalog. I've had the 360 since its lauch, but very few titles have compelled me to purchase them -- particularly at the NexGen price of $59.99. PDZ didn't interest me at $59, it became attractive at $29, but at $9.99 it became a must buy! I enjoyed Perfect Dark on the N64, who doesn't like the high-tech spy stuff? If it holds my attention for a few sittings the wait will be worth it. . .I'll let ya know.
Super Smash Bros. BRAWL (Wii) - I had not intended to purchase Brawl, as I believe it's really not much different than the GameCube's Smash Bros. Melee (or the N64 version for that matter). Unfortunately, my opinion was overruled by my two demanding sons -- they just could not be convinced the version we already own is just as good as the new one. Full price for a retread -- it hurts, it hurts. . .maybe it'll surprise me.
